Integrated Machine Design

Welding unit, machine frame, tooling, hydraulics, pneumatics, cooling system and electrical controls are fully integrated and factory pre-assembled. Simply connect power, water and compressed air for fast on-site commissioning. Full-enclosure guarding, safety light curtains, dual-palm start buttons and emergency stops deliver comprehensive operator safety protection.

Flexible Weld Sequences

Multi-sequence weld control supports squeeze, preheat, weld, upslope, downslope, hold and cooling stages to accommodate diverse welding schedules. Welding current triggers only when preset electrode force is achieved, effectively preventing metal expulsion, missed welds and inconsistent weld quality.

Servo Electrode Force

Servo-driven pressing unit with planetary gearbox delivers fast approach and controlled low speed compression. Adjustable speed and position ensure smooth motion, holding the baffle plate tightly against the muffler shell for consistent welds.

Flexible Part Fixturing

Multi-cylinder clamping and dedicated conductive paths ensure stable part positioning and reliable current transfer. Adjustable tooling supports multiple muffler specifications and simplifies product changeover.

Automatic Shell Forming

Upper and lower shell forming mechanisms reshape muffler shells prior to welding, enhancing shell roundness and contact performance at weld joints. Automated forming function minimizes manual work and boosts overall process consistency.

Pneumatic Force Regulation

Equipped with an air reservoir and proportional pressure regulator to deliver stable, adjustable electrode force. Force monitoring and air filtration greatly reduce the impact of pneumatic system fluctuations on final weld quality.

Process Interlocks

Air pressure, cooling water status, part presence, tube diameter and weld position are continuously monitored throughout the welding cycle. Fault detection automatically halts operation upon abnormal events, while laser alignment ensures precise weld positioning.

Water Cooling & Weld Monitoring

Continuous circulating water cooling dissipates heat from electrodes and welding transformer. Real-time monitoring of water flow, water temperature, welding current and electrode service life detects process deviations to sustain stable, long-term operation.

Production Management

The machine completes four weld points in sequence following programmed welding schedules. Production counters and quality alarms deliver transparent production data and process status for production management.
