Customer Situation: A air conditioning compressors company utilizes an arc welding process is faced with challenging operating conditions. Disassembly and installation procedures are complex, and there is a frequent requirement to replace the thermistor chain. Additionally, the arc welding process has low yield and generates environmentally harmful pollutants.
Heron Solution: To address the customer’s issue, we introduced a medium frequency capacitor discharge welding system for pollution-free, emission-free production. This system also reduces energy consumption by avoiding continuous heating. The production line can be automated to reduce the number of operators, and the production cycle time is 15s/piece.
Economic Impact: Production cost reduced by $0.12/piece.
Social Impact: Workers are removed from the hazardous work environment.
Environmental Impact: The process is energy-saving compared to arc welding.
